Take a little time...

to teach about time! If you dig deep enough in your kids toys you're likely to find a toy clock, somewhere! We have one on our play house.

Here's what you do:

1.) Go over the numbers on the clock 1-12.

2.) Show the little hand and big hand.

3.) Teach that when the big hand is on the 12 and the little hand is on the 1 it is one o'clock and so on.

4.) Depending on how advanced their counting skills are, you can move on to teaching different times where the long hand is not on the 12.  For my kids, I'm sticking to only times where the long hand is on the 12.

5.) Practice, practice, practice!
